yeah, I was thinking of relating this back to the
feminism/labels debate but after all the work to get
those worms back in the can... :)

I'm still a bit torn actually -- the other side of the
argument still makes sense to me too, that having the
label "atheist" has value as a label to rally around
in opposition to the dangerous lunacy that is
religion.  Basically all the reasons Dawkins gives for
getting non-religious people out of the closet.
