| Subject: | several clever and funny pranks to flout security |
Getting back confiscated materials at the airport http://www.zug.com/gab/index.cgi?func=view_thread&head=1&thread_id 827 Secret message at the superbowl http://www.zug.com/pranks/super/ Smuggling a vibrator onto a plane http://www.zug.com/gab/index.cgi?func=view_thread&thread_id 619 And also an article discussing how federal law does not require you to show photo ID at airports http://www.thetraveljunkie.ca/articles.php?articleid 6 I highly agree with some of the comments on zug.com, namely that life involves risk, and we are wasting our time and money trying to make the country 100% secure. If it were measurable, I would venture to say that the cost of becoming 1% more sure probably grows exponentially, so that an effort to be 80% secure would not be too expensive, but as one tries to approach 100% the cost sky rockets, and civil liberties are ruined.
