Arguments: stream &optional detach
Returns the current value out of the output stream buffer for
stream. If detach is true,
the stream's buffer itself is removed and
returned unchanged, and the stream is disabled, otherwise (by default)
an (unsigned-byte 8)
vector is made which is just
large enough to hold the current contents of the stream, and the
contents are transferred. Also when detach is
nil
, the stream is left in a state where it
is empty and ready to accept further output to it.
See streams.htm for information on the stream implementation in Allegro CL.
The documentation is described in introduction.htm and the index is in index.htm.
