tzu chi is a buddhist compassion/relief organization which is notable
in that all of their employees are volunteers, so all donations are
100% dedicated to charity, none of it goes to the running of the
organization. this is my parents' charity of choice (though we are
not buddhist) and it is a very remarkable organization. you can find
more information at www.tzuchi.org/global. they are doing quite a bit
with tsunami relief also.
