family planning amendment (and the pope) |
This is good news. Interesting that it happened 3 days after the pope (an
outspoken oppugnant of contraception in any form, not to mention gay
rights) died.

the Senate approved this amendment that would reverse a U.S. policy that
prohibits foreign aid from going to organizations that provide or discuss
abortion services.
