DAY OF REMEMBERANCE OF VICTIMS OF TRANSPHOBIA
 

The GAT- Groupe Activiste Trans' - calls today Sunday 20th November 2005 to a public action of visibility in front of various public monuments: in France, the transphobia kills.

TRANSPHOBIC STATE = MURDERER STATE !

The government is persisting in refusing to treat trans' persons as other than sick people who are a matter for psychiatry, and let us rot in shrinks' jails.

This year 2005, the state still and always shows it's transphobic :
- By including the transidentity in the psychiatric Long Duration Conditions (Affection de Longue Durée Psychiatriques), what shows the deliberate political will of ultra-pathologicalization of trans' as order to silence;
- By attempting to organize a degree course on transsexuality given by some of the most transphobic psychiatrists of the country, forcing trans' to intervene in public to make stop teaching techniques of physical and psychological torture against trans';
- By the faithful denial of the removal from psychiatric field and the prohibition of speaking for trans'.

TRANSPHOBIC STATE = MURDERER STATE !

We are victims of attacks, humiliations, of the worse stigmatization on daily basis, we have been violated, burned, murdered, tortured.
Whom of us will be the next ?

Transphobia extends and the State doesn't do anything.

Because we are TRANS'/PROUD/BEAUTIFUL/ALIVE and want to remain.

ENJOY THE SILENCE ? NO WAY !
