remove-extern-code-address

Function

Package: ff

Arguments: name

This function is obsolete. In earlier releases on Unix where foreign code was actually loaded in Lisp (rather than being in a shared-library which is linked), Lisp would build a symbol table to keep track of locations. This function would remove an entry from the symbol table. However, since no version of Allgro CL 5.0 uses that model of foreign loading, this function is effectively a no-op and should be removed from code that uses it.

See ftype.htm for information on foreign types in Allegro CL and foreign-functions.htm for general information on foreign functions in Allegro CL.

The documentation is described in introduction.htm and the index is in index.htm.
