Arguments: package-specifier
package-specifier must be a package object, or a symbol or string naming a package. This function returns the parent package or the package specified by the argument. An error is signaled if there is not a parent.
This function is not intended to be called directly in ordinary circumstances (it might be called in association with debugging).
