show-selection-when-unfocused

Generic Function

Package: common-graphics

Arguments: text-edit-pane

If this boolean property is false, then the selected range of text in the argument (a text-edit-pane or a multi-line-editable-text control) will be highlighted only when it has the keyboard focus. If true, the selected text will be highlighted all the time. Showing the highlighting only when the window has the focus helps to indicate which window has the focus, but also requires the user to reselect the window to review what the selected range is.
