non-refreshing-window

Class

Package: common-graphics

The class of a generic non-frame window. Works with non-refreshing-pane. This window does not inherently "know" how to refresh whatever is drawn on it.

If you either scroll or minimize and then maximize the window, unseen portions coming into view will be blank even when there should be something to view there, and portions scrolled off the screen will also be blank when scrolled back into view.

If you need a window which knows how to refresh itself, use a bitmap-pane.

Common Graphics and IDE documentation is described in About Common Graphics and IDE documentation in cgide.htm.
