"This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Warner/Chappell Music, Inc." I doubt this is due to a copyright violation--look how many other [better] parodies of the same song are on youtube (e.g. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b2kZKI7pSHs)... Or homemade parodies of michael jackson (also on the warner label) have not been removed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KO_ey4v1ccA). Perhaps Warner/Chappell Music just doesn't share the extremest views of the church, so they censored it. Nevertheless, the music video is still available at http://www.thesignsofthetimes.net/specialav/special.html, along with Westboro Baptist Church's other extremist music videos. -Monica On 4/23/07, Daniel Reeves wrote: > We see a lot of hand-wringing over cultural and moral decay as evidenced > by such supposed trends as increased violence in the world. > > Westboro Babptist Church, host of godhatesfags.com, has a laughably > extreme take on this, to the tune of We Are the World: > > "God Hates the World": > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My8KxRj_Pwo > > I'm pretty sure they're quite serious. > > Here's the oppositive perspective from Steven Pinker, author of The > Language Instinct: > > "We're Getting Nicer Every Day: A History of Violence": > http://pinker.wjh.harvard.edu/articles/media/2007_03_19_New%20Republic.pdf > > ----- > Finally, a word from our sponsor: (new rule: you're allowed to append > spam to the bottom of a legit post!) > > Bethany and I are about to move 75 blocks north, from times square to > harlem.
