I'm delighted=20 that my mom joined me in the hardcore liberal feminist camp. But, based=20 on private responses from many of you, far too many people are just not=20 willing to call themselves feminists and I see this as a big problem. First, there's mass misconception about the whole concept of Labels.=20 Labels are necessary and highly useful. People need something to identify= =20 with and rally around. There can't be a feminist movement without the=20 label "feminism"! How bout a new poll: Do think the Equal Rights Amendment [1] should be=20 ratified? reply (simple yes or no is fine) to me privately and I'll=20 compile the results.
