Environments
Dynamic
The environment is very dynamic. The submarine can, at any time,
detect enemy ships or radars. The submarine is also subject to
sporadic and random malfunctions.
Unpredictable
The world is unpredictable in the sense a lot of the things that might
happen (either external events or internal malfunctions) happen
without any warning.
Simulated
The world of the submarine is currently only a simulation on a
computer.
Consistency
The architecture does not really try to keep a model of the outside
world. It, however, does have a lot of knowledge about the things that
might happen there and the possible consequences that its actions
might have.
