PERFORMANCE
Performance refers to the execution time of an actual
implementation of the architecture. We pay special attention to the
reaction time of the architecture with respect to its environment.
- Speed
- We rate the relative speed of reaction as Fast, Mediocre, or
Slower.
- Eager Sensing
- The architecture is always observing the environment and
internalizing this information.
- Lazy Sensing
- The architecture only observes when it deems it neccessary. the
rest of the time it pays no attention to its sensors.
