LEARNING
Machine Learning studies the automated acquisition of
domain-specific knowledge by the architecture. The aim being that the
architecture would later be able to improve its performance as a
result of experience. Architectures that do not change their knowledge
base after relevant experience are not considered capable of learning.
Those that do so, and can later use this knowledge are considered
learning architectures. Since there are many types and degrees of
learning we decided to be very liberal in our decisions, any aspect or
type of learning is acceptable.
Architectures that provide learning.
