Environments
Dynamic
One of the central
philosophies of Brooksian architectures is that intelligent agents
must be exposed to dynamic real-world situations. His agents have been thoroughly
tested in these types of environments and have been found to be
robust.
Unpredictable
Brooksian architectures are well suited to unpredictable and uncertain
environments since they are highly
reactive.
Simulated
Simulated environments are entirely contradictory to the philosophy of
Brooksian architectures. These agents may be tested in
simulated environments, but the true test is in their exposure to
real-world environments.
Consistency
There is no explicit representation in Brooksian architectures, so
the issue of consistency is irrelevant here.
