Knowledge Representation
In ATLANTIS, only two of the three layers
(sequencing and deliberative) use any knowledge representation. And
these two layers use different representations. So the representation
is non-uniform. Where it is represented, the knowledge is symbolic
and procedural.
Learning
Learning is not available in this system.
Organization
The organization is distributed because of the layered nature of this architecture.
General Performance
From the results of the outdoor agent, it
appeared that the performance was average. But we must realize that
the system was doing stereo vision processing, which is typically an
expensive task.
