Processing Speed
An intelligent agent should be able to
quickly process information from its
sensors and from
the knowledge it has in order to
react in
real-time,
and so be able to navigate through its environment with reasonable
speed and rationality.
However, different architectures display vastly different processing
speeds and
reactivities. Many of these
differences are based on assumptions about the speed-of-change in
dynamic environments.
