Architectural Issues

As specified in the definition of a cognitive architecture, there are a vast number of choices (free parameters) which may be chosen in the development of any particular architecture. These decisions often represent trade-offs between extended capabilities and restrictions imposed by the environment. However, these choices often have repercussions concerning the final behavior of the architectural agent. The following documents discuss the particular issues addressed by the indicated architectures and some open issues in relation to possibly restricted capability and behavior:
