Manipulation of the Environment

This functionality is intimately related to robotic behaviors.

Typically systems that utilize robotic agents as a realization of the methods indicated by the architecture exhibit some manipulation of their external environment as an indication of the capabilities of the system, or as a test of the limitations of the system. In the case of AIS (see below), there is no robotic agent, yet the domain of the system demands a large degree of manipulation of some sort.
