Distributed Behaviors
In subsumption-like agents, behaviors are not explicitly programmed but
arise out of the interaction of the network of augmented, finite state
machines. Thus, a programmer can not simply
add the behavior "Do X" but must adapt the network to respond with
behavior X when confronted with the proper stimuli (which must be identified).
