Methodological
Assumptions
of THEO
Theo maintains several assumptions in its development:
- The problem of learning is inseparable from related
issues of how the system itself is represented and what range of
problem solving, reflection,
indexing, and generalization mechanisms it can employ.
- There are at least two organizing principles of an
architecture: structural and functional.
- The environment is entirely visible to Theo's
sensors.
