Using Soar as a Unified Theory of Cognition

Soar has been proposed as a unified theory of cognition (Newell, 1990. In particular, Soar has been applied to a breadth of cognitive phenomena with generally good results. The table included below (adapted from Lewis, et al, 1990) indicates many of the projects that have been undertaken, in part, to establish Soar as a possible unified theory of cognition.
