Capabilities of the Soar
Architecture
Because Soar is designed to be a general intelligent agent, its specific
high-level capabilties are dependent upon the particular (task)
implementation. These systems differ only in the knowledge that
the system is given; the underlying
architecture is the same in all cases.
The resulting
capabilities may be different (or even in opposition) in these different
implementations. This section details such high-level capabilities that
are specific to an implementation. Low-level capabilities that are
a direct result of the architecture are included in the discussion
of
Soar Properties.
