ICARUS has been designed to control an agent handling tasks like object and
place recognition, navigation, and manipulation, but is general enough to
suggest diagnosis of devices, problem solving in abstract domains, etc. The
long-term goal is to be as general as the human information-processing system,
but focuses on sensori-motor tasks.
