Text Interpreter
The basic agent allows a human supervisor
to enter statements, commands, and queries directly in English. The parser
generates all literal interpretations of the input, but the semantic
interpreter, running concurrently, can prune meaningless subtrees as soon
as possible. Both use knowledge stored in the lexipedia, and both operate as the sentence is
being typed in. Typically, the interpretation is complete within the a
second of entering the complete sentence. The result is in the form of an
INFORM event, which is passed on to the reflective
processes to be recorded in the episodic
memory.
