The Concurrent Reasoning Activities of AIS
Because of the concurrent events occurring in
an the AIS's environment, reasoning activities must be working in parallel
so as not to miss important information. Concurrent reasoning also
facilitates the handling of asynchronous
events, although it complicates global knowledge access. This
parallelism has great bearing on the architecture's style of control.
