The versatility of an AIS seems to be its strong point. The desire for multi-faceted expertise kept this
architecture dimension in the forefront of the designers' minds. Even
though the system keeps its knowledge uniformly represented and accessible, there are provisions for
multiple methods of reasoning and behavior. In addition, the system may
pursue multiple goals concurrently.
