The integration of planning and scheduling is one of the major goals of the design of ERE. Planning, as it were, is done exclusively by the Projector component of ERE. The Project builds a graph of possible future behaviors of the system given the present environment and the current goal. This constrained graph is translated into situated control rules used by other components for plan execution, etc.
