Efficiency of ERE

Efficiency of ERE

The maximum response time of the Reactor when it is forced to react and there is no situated control rule corresponding to the current situation. This worst-case scenario can be summed up by the following equation:

Max_resp_time=failure time to retrieve no SCR + time to assemble all possible actions.

In general, the determining factors for this time response is the efficiency of the matching algorithm, as well as the size and organization of the set of SCRs. Also, the anytime characteristics of the components play a large role.

The Utility Problem has not yet been addressed by this architecture, but seems very applicable, especially when dealing with generalized SCRs.
