Ralph: Environmentally Constrained Reasoning
Description
- RALPH not only chooses actions that correspond to the environment but
also directs its reasoning according to the state of the environment.
- Each execution architecture utilizes
sensor-based information from the environment, as well as knowledge about how
the environment may behave, to guide its planning operations, state by state.
- Knowledge about the environment is also used by the
meta-level arbitrator to determine which
execution architecture will provide the plan in the current state, while the replanning architecture decides whether replanning would be desirable.
