RALPH: Meta-level Arbitrator
Description
- The meta-level arbitrator applies meta-reasoning to determine which of the four
execution architectures is most likely to produce
a best solution
- The arbitrator has meta-knowledge about the performance of the four
execution architectures when they are given only limited computation time
- This knowledge, combined with knowledge about the current environment,
allows the arbitrator to determine the utility of additional computation; when
this utility falls below zero, the arbitrator outputs the current best action
