Description
- PRODIGY's general problem
solver allows it to generate plans in any domain that it
has knowledge of.
- A plan is simply the trace of a problem solution generated by the problem solver.
- Several methods are available to help increase the efficiency of
plan generation.
- Static and
Apprentice are both used
to generate control rules based on fixed properties of the
environment.
- EBL learns control rules based on
PRODIGY's experiences in past problem solving.
- Alpine utilizes abastraction spaces
to allow the generation of high level plans.
