ICARUS: Interruptable processing
Description
- Daedalus associates priority
levels to each problem
- If a new problem whose priority is higher than the
current priority, Daedalus interrupts and begins work on
the new problem
- Appropriate use of priorities enables the planner to
concentrate on important problems and work on inconsequential
problems when time allows
- The priority of problems is an example of
Meta-knowledge
