Homer: Knowledge Persistance
Description
- Factual knowledge persists until specifically forgotten.
Episodic memory is never forgotten, which
results in a knowledge/speed tradeoff .
- Factual knowledge can be given a time
frame during which it will be assumed to be true and after which it will
be "terminated" from generic memory
- If a persistant fact is found to be in conflict with a perceived or
user-supplied fact then it will be terminated
- Even when a fact is terminated it will be remembered as having once been
true in episodic memory
- When knowledge is modified, Homer will
replan if necessary
