Homer: "Agent Time"
Description
- Homer keeps an agent time, which is the number of seconds elapsed since
1-JAN-1900
- The agent time factor can be altered, causing agent time to pass faster
or slower than real time
- Relative temporal references are translated into the appropriate interval
of agent time
- Each record in the episodic memory is
labeled with a time tag, which allows querying about the agent's past actions
- Agent time also permits temporal planning
and reasoning wherein actions can be assigned a time at which they are to
be executed
