Levels of Importance
In a real, dynamic environment, events occur
which relate to the agent in a variety of ways. Some of these events
may be more important than others, such as an attacking (4-legged)
elephant. It may be desireable for the agent to be able to react to
events differently depending on how important it perceives them to be.
This brings up the issue of
interruptability and the associated cleanup problem. Also, is
the agent only capable of reacting, or does it have the capability to
do dynamic replanning?
