Emergency reaction
Time-stress reactivity is imperative in emergency situations involving agent survial. Preparing for such emergencies, embedding default actions in architecture seems a promising idea. A provisional default action that might be valid temporarily in an emergency can be followed by proper actions chosen in deliberation on the situation later. This emergency action scenario seems have psychological validity as well, i.e. people blink their eyes instantaneously without thinking when something small such as dust (or fly) attacks the eyes. The they might leave the place and try another path after realizing that there is construction nearby making lots of dust in the area. Emergenct actions have always higher priority than regular actions, thus the regular actions should be implemented interruptable whenever emergency situations occur.
