Efficiency in Theo
Efficiency in Theo
After learning,
Theo-Agent becomes quite efficient, with its
reaction time
going from minutes to sub-seconds. However, this
depends heavily upon the number of
reactive rules necessary to
characterize the desired behavior of the
system. The more rules that exist, the slower the system becomes due to
seek and match time. This is what is known as the Utility Problem.
The
efficiency of knowledge access is
discussed as a property elsewhere in the document.
