Perception in Theo

Perception in Theo

A Theo agent distinguishes between lazy and eager sensing of world features. Eagerly sensed features are updated automatically at the beginning of the "sense-decide-execute" control loop. Lazily sensed features are deleted and re-sensed only when they are needed. This policy provides a means of focusing an agent's attention while still allowing it to access a large variety of sense features.
