Focused Behavior in Theo
Focused Behavior in Theo
Selective attention is implemented in Theo by the combination of lazy
and eager sensing. Lazily sensed features are forgotten almost
immediately after they are sensed. Eagerly sensed features are sensed
on each cycle. If a lazily sensed feature is needed, but has been
deleted, it is simply re-sensed. The set of features that are eagerly
sensed corresponds to the features that the agent is selectively
attending to.
