Psychological Validity of Planned Situated Action Architectures
Psychological Validity of the Teton Architectures
These agents have been
developed expressly for the modeling of the
human cognitive function of
goal reconstruction. The authors argue
that the human goal memory and
short term memory are almost certainly
overwritten during interruptions or deep extended thoughts. The
ability of humans to quickly recover from such things, they argue, must
be supported by an architectural mechanism that may or may not be
cognitively impenetrable.
