Simulated Environments and Soar

Simulated Environments for Soar

One of the primary uses of Soar is as a model of human cognitive functions. Since these functions are primarily mental actions, rather than physical, it is often unnecessary for Soar agents to be instantiated in the physical world. Soar does have the ability to perform physical actions, but these have not received as much attention as mental actions. Thus, there are Soar agents that do operate in the real world but they are not as advanced as other Soar agents.
