Prodigy is composed of a number of modules, such as the
Problem Solver , the
knowledge database , and the
learning modules . Due to the
general nature of these modules, and the well-defined, low-bandwidth
communication between modules, additional modules can be easily added
to the system, which aids in using Prodigy as a
test-bed for learning . Also, encapsulating distinct functions of
the architecture in modules is
good software engineering.
