Deliberative Learning in Prodigy

Deliberative Learning in Prodigy

Prodigy exercises complete control over the learning process. One dimension Prodigy controls is when to learn. For example, Prodigy can choose to learn new control rules when no control rule for a particular decision exists. The EBL module also deliberates on what to learn from a particular problem- solving trace. After Prodigy learns a rule, it can choose to discard the rule at any time by use of the Utility function. Finally, Prodigy can choose to learn using any of several learning modules.
