Versatility of Prodigy

Versatility of Prodigy

Minton stresses the versatility of an architecture designed modularly, which Prodigy certainly exhibits, allowing it to support different types of goals, tasks, and methods. The authors point out that the separation between domain knowledge and control knowledge allows different search strategies to be employed for different tasks. Modularity also allows extensions and/or additions to the learning modules already present in the architecture, thus extending its versatility even further.
