Coherence in the Meta-Reasoning Architecture

Coherence in the Meta-Reasoning Architecture

Intelligent integrated agents must be able to focus their resources on a single goal. MAX uses a rule-based Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) to control its actions. MAX is sequential because only one behavior is active at any time. An active behavior can activate another behavior, allowing the agent to pursue a single goal coherently.
