Adequacy of the Meta-Reasoning Architecture

Adequacy of the Meta-Reasoning Architecture

MAX's Means-Ends Analysis unit and its conditions for the application of monitors are meant to give MAX flexibility and adequacy. They do give MAX the ability to do some forms of planning, replanning and some focusing of behavior.

However, the sequential constraint on behavior activation limits its ability to act in parallel and reason about continuous behavior.
