Efficiency in Meta-Reasoning Architectures
Efficiency in Meta-Reasoning Architectures
MAX agents, due to the
declarative structure
of the representation of knowledge, lose the ability to act quickly as
new knowledge is added to the system. Although this appears to be mostly
an issue of scalability it is salient to this
feature since the authors have
explicitly set out
to design an agent which
will continue to respond expeditiously to the environment while deliberating.
