Efficiency of Knowledge Access for Homer

Efficiency of Knowledge Access for Homer

Homer's knowledge retrieval algorithm is linear in the number of events in episodic memory. Events accumulate in episodic memory, because Homer is unable to "forget" events. As Homer gains experience, response time increases. Since reflective demons only operate on events as they are perceived, their performance is independent of size of episodic memory.
